"An idyllic hidden location on an island in the middle of the Loire river, south-west of Angers. An artist community with a beautiful church carved into the rock in the centre of it. What an unexpected pleasure! We turned up on a day when all restaurants were closed and our hosts kindly agreed to prepare a meal for us - a beautiful meal of sea bream and a fabulous bottle of Savennières Chenin blanc to complement. The room was peaceful, and comfortable and the breakfast the following morning was great too. This is an oasis - go there just for the restaurant (on a day when it is open!) Fantastic, kind, friendly hosts - I will definitely try to go back."

"It was absolutely beautiful, the location and the property, and the hosts were exceptional, they waited up very late until we arrived as we had missed our ferry, would definitely recommend and would love to visit again. We didn’t arrive in time for dinner but the menu looked amazing, thank you."

"Excellent location. Very close to Sainte Anne metro station. Comfortable and clean space with necessaty amenities. Did not meet reception staff due to my late arrival, but it was not a problem -well described and planned instructions were very helpful."
