"Gorgeous french-style house with a huge garden, staying at L’auberdiere means to taste a piece of Normandy way of life, an experience that we would like to repeat. Located in Calvados is a good starting position to visit main Normandy cities and attractions. "We loved the rural location of the property, and it’s warm, welcoming feel. The kitchen/ dining room, with its wood burning stove provided the focal point for eating, reading and deciding where to visit from the excellent range of tourist leaflets and advice from the hosts. Our host was extremely helpful, responding immediately to any questions or advice we sought. He gave us suggestions for lovely local walks which we would not have found in our own."

"The host was very responsive and was very helpful. Apartment was clean and tidy and certainly met my expectations. The bed was very comfortable and facilities as described were provided including ironing board and washer/dryer. The location was decent enough for where I needed to be however the nearest metro is about 10mins away but I did not mind this. Overall, the is a decent apartment and I will consider staying at again when I am back in Paris."

"The property was very nice and looked recently renovated. Located in the country side but a couple of minutes’ drive to a small town. The views were fantastic. The perfect place to rest, swim ( nice and big swimming pool ) and go for walks."

"A very good price for a busy week. The communication and instructions were very good. The apartment is the best equipped I have ever used in terms of kitchen utensils and equipment. The location is pretty good, although getting to 1800 with luggage isn't the easiest if the shuttle bus is crowded."
