"To celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary we came with our daughter to this beautiful property. Everything from beginning to end was just perfect….the welcome, the added touches such as bread, butter, jam etc were so much appreciated! "We enjoyed a fantastic stay at La Retraite. The apartment is cosy and tastefully decorated, and Assignan is a nice quiet little village, more interesting than we expected. We very much appreciated the complimentary local products, especially the jam and bread, and the coffee, because there are a few fine restaurants in the village, but no cafés where you can have breakfast."

"The owner gave us a better apartment as this one had a last minute issue. The apartment was amazing. Very clean and spacious. We had everything inside, even body wash shampoo, coffee, paper towels. We stayed only a night, and we left early in the morning but worth the money. Definitely we will come back."
