"A truly wonderful Gite, very welcoming, very comfortable, very tranquil and very relaxing. An ideal location for touring lower Normandy and convenient for the ferry ports. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts who provided a truly superlative experience for sadly an all too short a stay!"

"Everything. It was perfect. From the warm greeting upon arrival we knew it would be a great place to stay. The gite was so well equipped, they'd really thought of everything. It was comfy, spacious, clean and beautifully quiet. The attention to detail David and Helen have put into lovingly restoring their gites really showed. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and the advice they gave on the surrounding area was so welcomed. The beautifully presented breakfast we'd requested on the morning we departed, sums up La Martiniere, just perfect. Thanks for the chats David and Helen. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you."

"Location, price/quality, pet friendly (we have a small dog)…facilities and equipment were outstanding. David and Helen were delightful and efficient in all communication and guidance. Welcome basket of wine, fruit and chocolate was lovely (and tasty). We booked both gites for four nights as we were exploring the area to purchase with our two grown up daughters."

"Absolutely stunning, everything exceeded our expectations, the accommodation is beautifully decorated and furnished to the highest standards with all the comforts of home! David the host went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome including our little Italian Greyound dog, Dali and kindly gave Dali the freedom to enjoy and play in the beautiful gardens. The location is fabulous, set within the beautiful countryside, peaceful and tranquil with easy access for walks or a short drive to village shops and supermarkets. Thank you David for the most wonderful stay and for the delicious hamper and wine, we truly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!!!👍😍"

"The internal design and quality of furniture within the gîte was fabulous and completely luxurious throughout. The hosts were very friendly and the welcome box was much appreciated along with all the extras included within the property like washing up liquid and toilet roll - their thoughtfulness made our stay all the easier to relax and enjoy. The hosts' cats were an absolute delight too and we enjoyed them joining us for our morning walk on occasions!"

"A beautiful barn conversion, with a nice story behind it. Excellent hosts and all the comforts you could want. Nice touch by hosts to light wood-burner in advance of arrival and leave a nice welcome pack, including wine."

"Excellent place to stay while in Rennes - easy check in, comfortable bed and great location. I'd definitely stay there again if given the opportunity, even for a longer period of time."
"The location is perfect, walking distance to most of the “must go” places and if you want to go dist 1/2, just cross Seine river. The check in start from 16:00, but we found a bounce luggage storage which is only 100m away from this appointment. The apartment itself is very spacious, quiet , clean and lovely."

Unsere Ferienwohnung war groß, hell, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – einfach perfekt für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders schön war, dass direkt vor dem Haus ein Weinladen lag, in dem man die hervorragenden Weine der Familie Baur probieren konnte. Ich kann die Ferienwohnung Victoria wärmstens empfehlen und komme sehr gerne wieder."

"ALLES - ich kann das "little house" wärmstens empfehlen! Es ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Bormes les Mimosas. Alles - die Lage, die Ausstattung, die Sauberkeit und alles getoppt von der super Freundlichkeit von Carine. Sie ist IMMER erreichbar für Tipps. Bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Bormes, werde ich wieder diese Unterkunft buchen! Das Highlight ist die Terrasse, von der man nachts auch super Sterne beobachten kann mit einer Flasche Rosé!!!! Einfach nur schön und Erholung pur!!!"
