"Friendly welcome. Upstairs is light and homely. Nice garden with mature trees. Detached and quite quiet. Local hamlet has interesting old buildings."
"Downstairs is more functional, like a basement/garage, and one bathroom and bunk room are here. It's a drive to the boulangerie, there are no local shops. It's an hour walk into Amboise."

"La Loumas is a beautiful, superbly equipped family house in a safe, quiet location close to Amboise and convenient for touring the Loire valley. Set in a large mature garden, facilities include a raised decking area with table, chairs and an awning for al fresco eating. Behind the electric gates there is ample space for parking in the integral garage or on the drive. The house is nicely decorated; very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The basement laundry room is particularly useful. Most modern kitchen devices are included (even an electric juicer) though it would have been useful to have the operating instructions in English. We thought it offered amazing value for money given the size and space available and the offsite owners were helpful but unobtrusive."

"Maison dans un endroit très calme. Tout ce dont on a besoin s'y trouve en particulier dans la cuisine. Nous n'avons pas pu utiliser la terrasse et le jardin vu le froid mais cela nous a semble très agréable. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs et sympathiques. Les lits étaient faits à l'arrivée. Séjour parfait !"

"Apartment as described, very clean, with all the facilities (if travelling with a baby, they can provide all the necessary materials). Walking distance from lake Annecy and bus stop in front. A bit expensive, but hey...you are in the middle of one of the most beautiful places in Earth!"
