"Everything good that was said before about La Greande Mare, is sbsolutely true. The host was most friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was well laid out, superbly and tastefully furnished. An absolute pleasure to stay. Breakfast was ample, tasty and served in an equally beautiful breakfast room with a view onto a beautiful pool area. Really worth a revisit. Also, a special word of thanks and appreciation to Madame Claude Gilbert for her help in sourcing a garage when we encountered the loss of a car tire. Thank you Madame, your assistance aided in us continuing our holiday trip."

"Centrally located between Cancale, St Malo, Mont Saint Michel. Oysters for sale next door, actually everywhere. Good value, good breakfast. Clean, pool but too cold weather to swim. Friendly host who can give extra valuable information on visiting Mont Saint Michel. Highly recommended!"

"La Grande mere was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice, fresh and tasty. Sebastian welcomed us, he was friendly efficient and helpful. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated with a bed built like a boat. On top of all that there is a lovely, well maintained pool. We will definitely stay again."
