"Jean-Pierre is a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome on arrival. He explained everything very clearly to us and graciously let me practice my French with him! The room was beautiful and the views from the property are really fabulous. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice, and Jean-Pierre even cooked bacon and eggs for us. The nearby small village of Lasseube is charming. We would happily return to stay with Jean-Pierre if we were in this beautiful area of France again. We travelled from the UK by electric car and are pleased to report that the charger in the village worked very well for us."

"An isolated spot that suited us fine. The interior is renovatated to a luxurious standad, very well equiped and comfortable. The owner was most understanding about the delay in our arrival, owing to a deluge and consequent traffic chaos around Bordeaux. Nearby Saint-Jean-d'Angely is both pretty and interesting."
