"the extra payment for laundry - could this not have been included in the original price? The limit of 50kg on the upper bunk meant we had to adjust our family sleeping arrangements. Only when we were leaving did we find a separate pull out bed under the bottom bunk!"

"Die Lage ist gut, ruhig und man ist wirklich schnell zu Fuß am Strand. Man braucht etwas länger zum Ort. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Viel Garten und Sitz-/Liegemöglichkeiten. Es ist alles an Ausstattung vorhanden. Unbedingt die Bettwäsche mieten, das Format entspricht nicht der deutschen Bettwäsche!"
"Die Ausstattung ist gut, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Hier muss man ein paar Abstriche machen. Unter dem Strich stimmt Preis/Leistung. Bei längerem Regen muss man auch im Sommer die Heizung anschalten, da es ein älteres Haus ist. Generell legt man in Frankreich nicht viel Wert auf Kleiderschränke;-)"

"If you're looking for a hotel then this beautiful farmhouse isn't for you. The host made us feel very welcome, showed us our room and where the fridge etc was. There are so many beautiful things in the farmhouse. The room was small but we needed it to sleep in, and there was a small table and chairs to eat at. The loo was literally just outside the room, just like home.. opened the door and you were there! In the room was a shower and sink with plentiful hot water. Like other reviews have said the shower isn't great but we still managed to shower! I certainly wasn't expecting ultra modern in a quirky French farmhouse! The area is so peaceful, apart from the beautiful big grey donkey, he just wants to let you know he's there and say hello! The breakfast might be simple but is very French, if you want milk for your coffee just ask! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here, perfectly placed for the Normandy Beaches and Mont St Michel."

The kitchen and poolhouse are well equipped, restaurants and supermarkets close by and Patrick gave us some great tips on what to do and see in the area. Gorges du Verdon was stunning and we are glad he informed us of its closeness."
