"Beautiful garden with pool in rural setting. Great breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Above all was the friendliness of the host and hostess who clearly love making your stay perfect.The property is rural and no obvious amenities in the immediate area, but it is perfect for a stop en-route or for a longer stay as a base for visiting the area"

"The location was lovely, with views across the countryside, very rural without feeling too remote, and the grounds were secure. Our breakfast was excellent, with everything we could want, including some home-made jams etc, and, as it was Mother's Day in France, I was given a rose from the garden. Our hosts were very welcoming without being obtrusive and we enjoyed our overnight stay very much."

"Comfortable bed with walk in shower & separate loo. Coffee machine. Warm accommodation & very clean. Generous hosts. Lovely greeting and super breakfast. Thank you. Thoughtful books etc in room. Quiet location. Parking & proximity to motorway."

"Tea bags provided but not sure how to heat water as no kettle, which would have preferred. Shower water warm but pressure weak at times. Lost WiFi overnight. Very little not to like - but had to remove a few green bugs that buzzed around."

"Our hosts, Francis and Virginia, were very welcoming and immediately offered us a drink on our arrival. We had a very secluded room which was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and a lot was prepared by our hosts. Much thought had been put into thinking what their guests would like and how to make it comfortable. The property was very pretty and the views from the breakfast table with the pool in the foreground were outstanding. We would totally recommend this property for a stay and would not hesitate to return. Francis and Virginia also gave us local knowledge of how to avoid Bordeaux because the traffic was bad by telling us which route to go and recommending that we visit St. Emillion which was so very pretty. All in all a 10/10 visit. Thank you Francis and Virginia."

"The very warm welcome , even with aperitif. Nice surroundings and garden with swimming pool. Large room and comfy bed. Lovely terrace Breakfasr was exceptional with home made and local products. Virginia even made fresh hot chocolate milk."
