La Chaumette

"This was not our 1st stay in Les Sables d'Olonne but our first stay at la Chaumette and we were very impressed by the property, the warm welcome from our hosts, the cleanliness and facilities of the studio, access to the swimming pool in their beautiful garden, our own barbecue and the laundry room. The location is ideal- equal distance from the bustling town of La Chaume and its shops, restaurants and 'passeurs' shuttle boats to Les Sables and the quieter Côte Sauvage with the Bassin Dombret. We also appreciated the various emails sent by our host about local events, restaurants and markets which meant that even after many stays in the area previously, we discovered places we'd never been before- thumbs-up for that! We would definitely come back if they were happy to have us."

"The location was perfect, and parking available on street outside. Short walk to the harbour to catch the regular ferry across to the main town. Bike storage was made available to us after we brought back our hired bikes. Host was very helpful."

"The apartment was clean and comfortable, although not much space in which to chill out, fine if you're out all the time. The only lounge seating was a small settee in the kitchen/diner/TV room. It was required for us to bring our own bed linen, and the pillows were square so I didn't have any the right size. However, the host happily provided them."

"Marie-Line and Stephane (the owners) were so nice and helpful all the time. La Chaumette is situated in a quiet and beautiful area of Les Sables d’Olonne, with a beach and promenade within waking distance. You can even see the sea from the upper floor. The studio was very spacious, clean and tidy, equipped with everything needed for a one week stay. Shops and restaurants are very close and the streets are nice and quiet, good for a promenade. You can observe a beautiful sunset along the street or from the promenade at the end of the street. The swimming pool and garden are lovely. 😌"

"Such a lovely apartment in a great location. Safe storage of bikes. The terrace and the pool area straight from the patio made the apartment feel so much more spacious. Having the extra storage rack in the large bathroom was brilliant for storing our cycling panniers. La Chaume are of Les Sables is really great and the walk to the port and ferry was lovely. Our host was great 😊!"

"The owner Marie- Line is very helpful and a great communicator, always answering emails quickly. The property is as described and is situated in a quiet residential part of La Chaume. The bedroom was very spacious and the patio and swimming pool area huge."

"This was the perfect place to relax 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops. The apartment was spacious and clean with all the amenities we needed. The pool was a bonus and we spent a relaxing afternoon here. The owner is also very helpful and very knowledgeable of the area.Would highly recommend for couples and we would return all perfect."
