"The property has been beautifully renovated with great style to create a peaceful ambiance in a rural setting, yet there is a very well resourced village close by. The hosts are wonderful, as is the bed, linen and shower. Although there is minimal choice for breakfast, juice is freshly-squeezed, tea and coffee is freshly made, the breads are excellent and jams homemade."

"Although you don’t visit a property like this to work, occasional connectivity may be required and WiFi is poor here, even from the main communal room."

"Cathy and Olivier were amazing hosts - so friendly, welcoming, attentive and helpful. We had some wonderful conversations with them. We stayed in the room with the terrace, which is spacious, tastefully decorated, quiet and private. The bed is excellent and we had the amenities we needed. Continental breakfast included fresh baguette, jams, butter, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, brioche or other pastries, hot beverage, yogurt. We had the option to eat inside or on the terrace in front of the house. The breakfast room has a microwave, oven, small refrigerator and table-cookware if one wants to heat up a meal. Thank you Cathy and Olivier for a wonderful stay."

"Het is prachtig ingericht, heel schoon, goed bed en fijne douche. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en heerlijk. Olivier en Cathy geven je een super thuisgevoel en zijn zeer gastvrij."

"Endroit bien situé, extrêmement calme. Cathy et Olivier sont des hôtes très accueillants. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable. Le salon extérieur ombragé permet de bien profiter du jardin après s'être rafraichi dans la piscine. Les attentions du matin (crêpes, brioche maison) ont été bien appréciées. La Chaumeaunière est le type de chambre d'hôte où l'on est heureux de passer quelques jours."
