"Prachtig appartement maar wel afgelegen, dus onderaan de berg boodschappen doen en dan naar boven. Je moet goed ter been zijn, want het laatste stukje moet je lopen en de weg is erg steil. Bij mooi weer prima wandelomgeving. Echt alles is aanwezig. Verhuurders wonen er boven en zijn erg aardig."
"We kregen de toegangscode voor de sleutelkluis pas toen we er waren. Moesten er dus op wachten. Beter is het om de code een dag van te voren te ontvangen. Helaas hadden we slecht weer en dan zit je overal wel erg ver af."

"Maison très agréable, confortable et très propre. On s’y sent comme chez nous. Cuisine parfaitement équipée. 1 Chambre avec salle d’eau et deux autres chambres en enfilade : très bonne literie pour les trois chambres. Merci pour les petites attentions. Tout est parfait !"

"The apartment is conveniently located in the old part of the town not far from the restaurants, bars and shops. There is a boulangerie only 2 minutes walk away and a very good one near the harbour about 10 walk minutes away. Car parking is on the street and is first-come, first-served, but we never had a problem parking close to the apartment. The apartment has all you need for a comfortable stay. There was a welcome pack of prepackaged pastries. Calais is a lovely town to explore with some fine old buildings. The Lace museum is very interesting. The beach is lovely. So many people rush away from Calais after arriving by ferry or Channel Tunnel, but it is well worth a 2 or 3 day stopover. Just down the coast are some good walks at Escalles."
