Hotel du Lac

"The hotel was exactly what we were looking for - old school french charm with a lovely pool, attentive staff, lovely view of the lake and within easy walking distance of Tailloires beach. The selection for breakfast was excellent and pool side cocktails highly recommended!"

"Lovely location in beautiful area. Restaurants nearby, fantastic pool and 5 minutes from public beach on the lake. Would not swop Annecy for this. We stayed five nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bus was 2 euros into Annecy town."

"Bit dated but perfectly adequate"

"The view from the balcony was stunning & the bed was very comfortable. Great that we were able to park our car. Lovely lady who served us at the bar. Nothing was too much trouble for her. A credit to the hotel."

"There was no kettle in the room so we had to pay for a coffee. For €195 a night we would expect to have coffee facilities in the room. Also blinds are needed on the bathroom windows ! It's overlooked by at least six rooms !"

"Pool was fabulous. Breakfast was lovely, staff very helpful Alexia."

"Comfortable family run hotel. Very clean room, great shower, smiley chambermaid. Mountain View with large window and efficient fan perfect for the very hot days we were there. Plenty of shelves for unpacking. Handy fridge. Excellent breakfast and friendly waitress. Charming garden with very nice pool. Good location for little town and lakeside."

"Electrics in the room need attention as others have said and need more sockets. Also patchy WI Fi."

"-Great location, easy access to the lake, very quiet and relaxing, away from the overcrowded Annecy centre -Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming - Free on-site parking with plenty of space - Great pool area - Room was large and terrace was highly appreciated"

"- The rooms are a bit dated, even if some parts have been renovated. But some furnishings and fittings would need an upgrade"

"The location is stunning. We enjoyed our stay, close to the lake and restaurants. Even allowed our dog by the pool which was fantastic. The views over looking the lake are lovely."

"The rooms are very hot in the peak of summer, as a Brit were not used to this so struggled without aircon. But would definitely not let us be put off by it. The pros far outweigh it."
