"The location was lovely, very peaceful with a horse in the field, chickens, friendly dogs, good parking and near some wonderful visits such as Le Bec Hellouin. The gite was comfortable and stylish and the owner very friendly and helpful."

"We would have liked instructions for the very sophisticated shower and a handle on the sliding door into the bathroom. The breakfast was very carb heavy. Croissants/pain au chocolat plus bread, homemade jam, fruit juice, tea & coffee. We would have preferred to have a tick list of options the night before e.g. options of bread with cheese or ham, a piece of fruit. However, at the price we paid, and with the fridge and kitchen, it was still very good value."

"Excellent location in the countryside and positioned in great location to continue a trip further South or if stopping on a return North to the tunnel etc. We hadn’t realised how nice the area is and the surrounding towns are very attractive and this property would make an ideal base from which to explore. The property is very quiet being just off a country lane and has parking outside the entrance. There are towns around that are within easy walking distance and many others a short drive away. The accommodation is perfect for two and has everything needed including a private outside area overlooking the horses field. We’d have booked another night if we’d realised how nice it was. The pictures we saw are exactly as the property is. If we’re driving through France again we’ll return. Be careful of the owners dog when you arrive as it’s a little elderly and may not realise you have driven in."

"We received a very friendly welcome and were able to arrange an earlier arrival than was advertised (3pm instead of 6pm). The gite is in a completely rural location and was very quiet. The small terrace overlooked the owner's field in which she keeps a horse and a couple of chickens and was a delightful place to sit out and enjoy a drink in the evening or breakfast in the morning. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well-equipped and clean. The property is about a 5 minute drive from Le Bec Hellouin where you can find a few restaurants and about 10 minutes from Brionne where you can find a selection of supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again."

"This was a perfect little home away from home. In the quiet countryside with beautiful landscapes any which way you walk or bike. If you want to enjoy the calm of the French countryside I can think of no better place. The home itself is entirely freestanding, with a well equipped kitchen and many little touches from the lovely owner. Having breakfast on the terrace with the local horse for company in the morning sun was a pleasure."
