"Where to begin? From the very first moment, Valerie made us feel completely at home. The place is beautiful, spotless, and offers breathtaking views. We enjoyed the outdoor hot jacuzzi and then moved inside, where the lovely Valerie lit the fireplace for us. We relaxed in the cozy living room, choosing from her great selection of wines and local craft beers. Later, she served us a delicious soup, a wonderful homemade meal, and a tasty dessert. Thank you, Valerie ,we’ll definitely be back."

"Upon arrival to the chalet, we got a wonderful greeting and were given directions to start our hike on the trails just behind our parking before checking in. The hike was amazing! We checked in and prepared for dinner, which was a delicious and fresh assortment of vegs and salads, cold soups, cheese and bread all sourced locally and home made. The view was stunning and ever changing! And the sound of the cow/sheep bells were quite soothing. The part Ill never forget is waking up to seeing the fog come right in through our open window! Thats a first! We have never stayed in a pension like group gite before (although we got a room with a bathroom in the room) it was wonderful just the same. We think our host Valerie made all the difference, she was very kind, funny, informative, like staying with your auntie, like family! We will be back!!!"

"Everything was wonderful, I was a bit surprised about the late checkin time, but we just busied ourselves with hiking and exploring the area. It seems every place has late checkin now adays. So not a direct complaint."

"Gîte franchement exceptionnel. Je le recommande fortement. Entre l'emplacement avec la vue et la gentillesse de l'hôte. Je recommande aussi la demi pension, délicieuse,, surtout si vous êtes en velo comme nous car ya pas pléthores de restaurants dans les environs. Séjour extrêmement agréable"

"La meilleure expérience d'un séjour de 15 jours dans les Pyrénées. Accueil exceptionnel. Diner et petits déjeuners excellents fait maison de A à Z avec des produits locaux. S'il existait un guide Michelin pour les gites, le gite chalet de Soulor aurait 3 étoiles. ET que dire de la vue sur toute la vallée depuis la véranda. Merci mille fois à Valérie pour ce souvenir inoubliable."
