"Jean-Louis saw us passing by many times and came out and met us on the road. The place was clean and the view of the sunset from the kitchen was breathtaking. I loved the many flowers planted around the building and there was a horse next door. It was within a short drive to everything we wanted to see in Bayeux, Caen, and Juno Beach and not too far from Mont St. Michel. The bed felt a bit stiff at first, but I slept like a rock and did not have my usual stiff neck in the morning. It is quite comfortable and charming."
"It is very rustic, so don't expect North American style accommodation. The signage for the place assumes you are coming from the coast, but we came from Paris and could not find the place. It would be helpful to have a sign from the other direction too. When we arrived, all the stores had closed, so it was not so fun to have no coffee supplies for the morning. If you arrive on Sunday, be aware that all stores close at 5pm, so you might want to stop near the airport for coffee/breakfast."

Comfortable, clean property in remote rural area, 3 large bedrooms: double room had en-suite shower & toilet, adjacent to triple room, additional shower room with separate toilet opposite in corridor & other double room off the other end of open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. Outdoor seating to sit & appreciate quiet location ( although flies a bit of a menace as in most rural areas) & ample parking space for our motorbikes & car. Excellent location for exploring the Normandy beaches."

"A very spacious gite in an idyllic location. Big kitchen which was great for a big family. The gite is near lots of attractions and the nearby town is lovely, with great restaurants. We had a private pool with a stunning view. The hosts were lovely, a hard-working family! We cannot wait to go back. There was a cupboard with games which the kids loved, what a nice surprise. TV worked well."
