"Location beautiful, high on the hills above S. Marie-aux-Mines, right next to the church of St Pierre sur l'Hate, huge garden, beautiful views of the surrounding pine clad hills, lovely terrace area for breakfast in morning sunshine, direct access to long walks in hills and forests above and around. We went for a local music & film festival, which was fantastic, but also enjoyed the silence of the forest, the friendliness of gite owners and locals, gorgeous Alsace food and drink at (by London standards) absurdly low prices. And the birdlife!"
"The only thing that bothered me was the distance from town centre and closest shops etc, but I should have checked that more carefully before booking. Luckily we are good walkers, the weather was marvellous, and taxis were available for late night pick-ups from centre. Had I been staying longer would definitely hire a car or e-bike."

"Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans ce gîte charmant et paisible. Le logement est très agréable, très bien équipé et parfaitement propre. Le jardin à l’extérieur est idéal pour se détendre en été. L’environnement est calme et reposant, parfait pour se ressourcer. Les hôtes sont chaleureux, souriants et toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation !"

"L'emplacement était magnifique, vu sur le lac. La maison très agréable à vivre. Avec de nombreux equipements. Nous n'avons pas vu les propriétaires contrairement à d'autres commentaires que j'ai pu lire ( seulement une société de nettoyage qui venait pour le logement accolé et une personne pour l'entretien de la piscine) ils doivent être présent selon les périodes..."

"El que més m’ha agradat ha estat la cordialitat i ajuda en tot moment de la propietària. També el fet que sigui un apartament tan gran i amb terrassa, al centre d’Annecy. L’apartament estava molt net, amb tot el mobiliari necessari per gaudir uns dies d’Annecy. La terrassa amb 2 sofàs, era fantàstica."
