"A wonderful stay with genuinely lovely hosts, who made us and our two dogs so welcome. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, with home made jams, fresh pastries and bread, yoghurt and fruit. It was lovely to share an hour sitting around the table with the hosts and two other guests, sharing stories. Yoëlle, Otis had a wonderful time playing in the garden with you! "Tot ha estat correcte. Pot aparcar-se molt a prop (al carrer) sense haver de pagar. Hi ha forn de pa molt a prop, ideal per a l'esmorzar. Nosaltres només hi vam passar una nit i no vam fer servir cap estri de la cuina. Hi ha cafetera, això sí, amb càpsules proporcionades per l'anfitrió (tot un detall)."
"This is a well appointed gite in an excellent location. Belinda and Hamish couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Massignac is a small village but has everything for your immediate needs. A friendly little epicerie, fabulous boulangerie, cafe, post office and a restaurant are all only a couple of minutes walk away. You won’t be able to be there more than a couple of days before making new friends. Wider afield you have a couple of Intermarches, a Super U and a LeClerc a short drive away. Massignac is around halfway between Angouleme and Limoges so both are easy to reach. There are a couple of nice walks from the gite. One is around the lake, another, short walk goes to the local Michelin starred Restaurant “Domaine des Etang”. The walk is free, the restaurant is definitely not…. Gite du Jardin is the only place we’ll stay if we’re anywhere near the area."

"The smiling, friendly welcome by Katrine. The very clean room, large comfortable bed with nice linen. The air conditioning, the option of blackout blinds. The delicious and plentiful breakfast. Peaceful. Excellent bistrot nearby. There are simple shared cooking facilities with a fridge."
