Chic Oasis in Rouen

"I was a bit apprehensive at first about staying here because I looked it up on street view and I was a bit scared about what the neighbourhood was like, but a friend off mine said it was a good street. The wooden door from the pavement opens onto a courtyard with the flat on the ground floor. The layout & use of space in the flat is very well conceived, the lighting is nice and the decor make it feel very homely. The kitchenette is perfect, the bed very comfortable, the water hot and our stay was very quiet. The other great thing is that this flat is on a wonderful main artery road to the centre of Rouen, to the Cathedral in fact, and the other way to the train station.. There are lovely food shops down the road and a little grocery shop on the corner right opposite the flat. No need to go and find a supermarket for food, drinks or snacks! Its a brilliant location."

"A few too many trinkets around the flat which take up space especially on the bedroom side cabinets. A folding suitcase stool would be useful in the bedroom. I think the light over the kitchenette wasn't working but the main light for the kitchen was fine. The street was being renovated and so there was no parking. Getting to the front door by car was a huge challenge due to the number of no entry signs to access the road. Eventually we parked up the road, making sure it wasn't in the way of diggers etc .. The road will be great when it's finished and at the moment there are temporary walkways to help you stay away from walking in mud, in the areas the guys are working, which was in front of our door and uphill. I couldn't find the news channels on the TV, but we're not very techie, so we watched a film that was OK but TV isn't our thing anyway."

"Perfect place! Great location (10 min walk from the train station, 20 from the bus station). Spacious enough for two people. The apartment is cool and quiet thanks to the ground floor and windows facing the courtyard (but you can't open the windows for ventilation if you don't want your neighbors to look in). Overall a very nice place"

"Thank you !) Host is extremely nice person. I saw her on camera) it seems she is 24/7 with u, communication was perfect. ) Even in my case when I don’t speak French. They thought about the smallest detail to make your stay comfortable, all was perfectly clean and new) . Really comfortable bed. By the way wi- fi works perfectly ) have no idea why score of it was low. Recommend to anyone."

"For me even with heating on it was a little bit cold. But may be It’s only me who likes it really warm inside."

"Well situated for the station and easy walking distance of the excellent Musee de Beaux Arts. Liked the quiet situation in a courtyard, on the ground floor. Everything necessary supplied in the apartment. Apartment modernised and very carefully designed. Comfortable separate bedroom. Plenty of hot water. Good to have a sofa."

"Las indicaciones para entrar eran precisas y pide ingresar. El depto es cómodo y está miu bien equipado"

"El pasillo una vez que atravesé la puerta de la calle (decía verde, pero estaba como vandalizada), está muy descuidado y no se condice con el depto que encontramos. No hay vistas a la calle, el depto da a un pasillo de ingreso."
