"Myself and my dog Luna had a fab stay at chez Michel for a week. The house is beautiful, Michel super friendly and keen to help (including letting me use his garage to fix something in my van). A good location to visit a range of ski resorts as long as you have a car and there are beautiful walks from the house up the mountain. We had a great stay."

"Michel is a wonderful host. His chalet is classic French in an idyllic little spot in the middle of all the best skislopes or if in summer hiking trails. There is a bus available but for those driving its just a few minutes to la rosiere, tignes, val disere and many more. Bourg saint Maurice 20 mins drive! Its super clean, and comfy. Facilities are good! Highly recommend and we will most def be back!"

"Altogether a lovely stay. Very friendly staff and wonderful dining, drinks and spa experience in a great location."
"A perfect base on the Dordogne River to explore the beautiful Dordogne Valley especially the local area of the 5 castles. The house is compact and comfortable for two with everything you need for your stay. An excellent bakery and local butcher are across the road with a small grocery store. Canoeing is available 100m away and the lovely grassy and shady reserve has steps into the water and a shingle beach. We swam every day in the river and beautiful side streams where the current is low, all crystal clear. We did walks to the other castle towns through farms fields and forest, all flat and easy. A very special part of France altogether and Patrick’s cottage is perfectly positioned. Patrick is a charming host and takes a lot of trouble to ensure you have good information on the area."
