Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Eric could be a great concierge in a 5 star hotel! He made some amazing recommendations for day trips and restaurants. The breakfast was yummy and having it on the beautiful balcony was a bonus. Chez Mamylette is in a lovely village location and it really is very special. We wished we had stayed longer! The rooms are quirky and rustic - spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. "Very friendly hosts who even gave us some vegetables from their garden. Large garden for the kids to play in with a marvellous view on a typical French field which was lovely. There was also some garden games available, like table tennis, badminton and of course jeu-de-boules. Every evening the bamboo in the garden attracts literally thousands of starlings which was an awesome sight. It makes some noise but only in the garden."

"The location of the house was central and within 15mins walking distance to the Blois Castle and bridge to restaurants, in a quiet pedestrian street. Pre-arrival information was comprehensive and host was very responsive. The welcome greeting by Nathalie was warm, excellent and informative. She also offered to walk with us to the restaurant we had booked for lunch, familiarizing us with sites along the way. The terrace house itself was well equipped and comfortable with ducted temperature control and heaters in rooms."
