"We loved the peaceful location. The furniture and fittings were of a very high standard and easy to use.(but keep an eye out for the glass top table!) Despite the hot weather, the interior of the property kept a very pleasant temperature. The owner responded very swiftly to the one query we raised during our stay."

"Wow. We were so lucky to book this gem. From the minute we walked into this hotel we were entranced by everything from the delicious smells emanating from the open kitchen to the roaring fire in the cozy common room to the warm and inviting staff. Our room, like the rest of the property, was so beautiful. Tastefully decorated with a mix of antique furniture and modern conveniences. The availability of the spa was another pleasant surprise. I was so disappointed that we were staying only one night and hope to return sometime when I can stay longer."
