"Chateau Philip is a hidden gem tucked away in the hills above Saint Etienne. We were very late booking as we were travelling down through France en route to the Cote d'Azur. Arnaud was very accommodating of our desire to eat at the Chateau that evening and arranged a delicious dinner for us. Our room was beautiful and perfectly equipped for all we needed, and the bed was extremely comfortable!"

"Armand & Ludovic are excellent hosts and made us very welcome. Our room was very comfortable and relaxing. The grounds and pool are also inviting. Probably best of all was the delicious dinner Armand & Ludovic prepared just for us - it was delicious! We look forward to returning!"

"We loved staying here. The rooms at the chateau are lovely - spacious and comfortable. We were only there for one night on our way further south but wished we had booked for an extra night. The hosts were so friendly and generous. We were offered welcome aperitifs on the terrace before dinner and encouraged to swim in the pool (which we did) before leaving. The pool is a lovely size to swim in. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts have thought of everything and take great care to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely return - and next time will book for longer and explore the area."

"We only stayed for one night but everything was excellent - the room was decorated with much thought, there was a communal fridge to store drinks, we were able to get some very reasonably priced rosé to drink by the pool. Breakfast was very homely."

"L'appartement est tout neuf, de standing,avec des équipements électroménagers au top : Four, lave vaisselle, grand frigo congel. micro ondes, plaques ... Climatisation indispensable pour cette semaine de canicule. Bel emplacement avec place de parking sécurisée, local à vélo, et plage par chemin direct accessible depuis le parking. Service de conciergerie très cordial, disponible et très professionnel pour arrivée et départ indépendants."
