"Fantastic vineyard chateau with years of history which was explained to us whilst having a wonderful wine tasting and evening meal. The location was superb with easy access off the motorway south of Bordeaux."

"The room was spacious , well appointed and very comfortable. Bella was one of the nicest people you could hope to meet. It seemed like nothing was too much trouble and she was also very accommodating regarding our dog. We were able to take him safely for walks around the grounds. Bella served us a hearty breakfast - and I would recommend the omelette! As my husband is interested in wine making Bella kindly arranged for a wine tasting with Mr Gonet."

"Bella & Fredrik were the best of hosts; warm, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was lovely and the dinner and breakfast were perfect. Frederic's knowledge of his family's wine is amazing. The Chateau is in a great location for travelling from the north to Spain and we thoroughly recommend it."

"The most outstanding feature is the way the owners Fredric and Bella made us feel as if we were part of the family. Bella's Chinese breakfast was very good!! We also enjoyed all the knowledge and passion Fredric has about the process of champagne making. We'll definitely come back!!!"

"Chateau from the 11th century, beautifully restored, with nice modern rooms. Free parking. Hosts are very friendly and gave us tips what to see in the area. Wine tasting and dinner were delicious. The highway next to the Chateau is audible outdoors, but not disturbing thanks to the walls surrounding the courtyard. Inside the room, the highway noise is not audible anymore. Great experience staying here - we can absolutely recommend!"

"The building has real charm. Really impressive as one approaches down the drive to the parking at the rear of the property. Bella, the host, came out to greet us and was really friendly. She talked a bit about the history of the place as she showed us to our room. The room was very spacious and comfortable. We had a very good nights sleep. In the morning, Bella prepared a fabulous breakfast consisting of Japanese stye omelette, chocolate croissant, bread, and fruit. We would stay here again."
