"As someone who doesn't speak french the check-in was almost impossible. I sent an SMS like requested (both in english and french via translate), didn't get a reply, tried to call the host- they didn't pick up, sent SMS to host - no reply. I've waited for an hour at this point. I then called the host's mother who is a very nice Lady! But unfortunately we were not able to communicate at all, so I had to ask someone on the street if they could translate. Thankfully he helped me and told the nice lady that I was waiting in front of the apartment and she came over and we were able to communicate via Google translate. She is a real sweetheart! If the passerby didn't help me though, I might've not been able to check in at all, so check-in descriptions in english and maybe one of the keyboxes with a code might be helpful."
