"We hebben oudjaar gevierd in het huis in Vicq met een groep vrienden. Er stond een mooie kerstboom klaar in de centrale ruimte, dat was een fijne verrassing. De ruime woonkamer, de goed uitgeruste keuken en de gezellige zithoek zorgden voor een comfortabel verblijf. We hebben ook een mooie wandeling gedaan in de buurt, in het woud van Raismes-Saint Armand-Wallers. Daar hebben we ook de resten van de oude mijnsite kunnen zien, en de cité Sabatier. Er is ook een supermarkt vlakbij, in Escautpont."
