"The location is perfect right opposite the lift And nestled at the foot of the mountain with stunning views. The food was delicious. The beds were very comfortable and the Chalet was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and they made me and my daughter very welcome. 10/10 John United Kingdom"

"We loved everything about the hotel. While it is not central to Lq Clusaz, it is very convenient for ski-hire, ski-pass and access to the lift. What made our stay particularly special though were the owners, Catherine and Didier. They are exceptionally good hosts. The meals are hearty, plentifully and delicious, and they couldn’t do enough to accommodate our vegetarianism. The hotel is informal and relaxed with a comfy salon to relax and play board games in."

"Location, a lovely lakeside walk from the hotel. A superb quality dinner available in the evening."
"Beautiful room, pleasant hostess. Here you will find everything you need if you really want to relax and take a break from everyday life. The room is really spacious, with discreet heating and cooling. A big plus, homemade bread and various pastries that the host prepares every morning. For those who come without their own car, a good convenience is the proximity of Pasteur Square from where you can go on excursions or catch the loyal bus. Finally, a big thank you for helping to organize transportation to the boarding point for a canoe trip on the Dordogne River, which is certainly one of the highlights of our stay here. Staying here is sincerely recommended to all friends and acquaintances!"
"This is a perfect hotel for a stopover when travelling by road through France. I stay here whenever I drive to my second home near Béziers. It’s comfortable and the staff are friendly and efficient. The location is very convenient, just off the A71 and the hotel has the added bonus of an excellent restaurant."

"We originally went to the Relais de l’Abbaye just for its restaurant, having heard it was fantastic—and it truly was! The food was exquisite, the kind that makes you quietly vow to return before dessert even arrives. The staff were wonderfully kind and made everything feel effortless. But the stay turned out to be so much more: I loved visiting the Museum of Silk (and came home with a beautiful piece that still turns heads) and learned fascinating things about medicinal plants at the Hospital Museum of Charlieu. I even bought a book about magic plants just to remember this particular day when life was more than it appeared. A truly fantastic experience from start to finish—can’t wait to go back one day!"
