"Charles is an excellent host with refined taste and an appreciation of traditional French style. The house is magnificent and is furnished and decorated with beautiful use of colour and texture and the antique furniture and paintings are delightful. Beautiful spacious and characterful bedroom and bathroom. My stay felt like being a guest at an eighteenth century house party and Charles' relaxed and friendly manner was wonderful. I was looking for a genuinely French experience rather than an impersonal hotel and both Charles and the lovely French couple who were also staying were happy to encourage my French speaking. A truly memorable experience and I hope to return. Thanks for a great stay Charles."

"It is a beautiful property situated in central Normandy close to all activities. we went there to watch two stages of the tour de France. It was perfect. Charles was a fantastic host from communicating in advance of our visit to afterwards. Highly recommended and I would definitely go back."
