Boutique-Hotel Auberge du Hérisson is located just 300 metres from Hérisson Waterfall and 500 metres from the Lake of Ilay. You can relax on the terrace and free Wi-Fi access is provided throughout the residència. Decorated in a traditional style, the guest rooms feature a TV, telephone and a wardrobe. "After several days on "city breaks" we headed to the countryside and stayed at Augerge du Herisson. It was perfectly located for a bit of hiking (up to Pic de l'Aigle and down the Cascades d'Herisson). Well worth a couple of days. The room was comfy with free WiFi (useful given the mixed mobile coverage in the area), the food at the restaurant was good (also useful because it's a bit of a trek to other places to eat which isn't easy on motorbikes, probably easy in a car)."

"The room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom/shower was a little awkward, but worked well. Staff was helpful and friendly. Supper and breakfast were fine and enjoyable. The hotel is located at a crossroads in an area of exceptional natural beauty. Still pleasant and quiet in early June, but expect it might get a little crowded in full season."

"The view from the balcony is great. The near road can be loud, especially when motorbikes are running by. But there is silence at night at least. This hotel has its charme of the 90s. Clean and everything ok - the price is suitable."

"Luckily for us, we were practically the only guests, and we were spoiled using the great sized pool for ourselves and by the hosts, who are exceptional in their friendliness and great service. We took advantage of the half board service, and our meals were perfection. It was a short stay on our way back home, but it was a memorable stay to close out the early summer holidays. We hope to be back for a bit longer stay next time."

"Lovely little cosy bar, friendly staff, convenient for a late stop over through France not too far from the main road. We noticed an outdoor pool too but we arrived late so wasn’t able to use it."
