"We stayed at Hotel Arraya in the lovely village of Sare and absolutely loved it! 💛 This charming historic house is run by a wonderful family whose warmth and hospitality made us feel truly at home. Everything is cared for with so much love and attention. The restaurant is excellent, and the location is perfect for exploring the Basque Country and the Pyrenees. The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave. 😊 We’d love to come back and highly recommend this beautiful place!"

"Great old hotel with modern updates. Good Spar supermarket nearby. Restaurant was disappointing as the menu lacked beef or lamb. Other Australians staying said the same. Fancy food but disappointing. Great location."

"This hotel has everything - ambience, comfort, modern facilities, gracious hosts. the property was historical but with modern updates. the pool was perfect. when we arrived, tired from a long day of hiking, Laurence suggested changing our room to one with a bath so we could soak our tired feet. so thoughtful! The food at the restaurant was fantastic too. The chef puts both heart and ingenuity into his dishes."

"The waiters are so polite and friendly. I had a great staytime here"
"The staff at the hotel were amazing. Our train from Paris was delayed by several hours, meaning that we arrived after check-in would normally be closed, but they very kindly kept the reception open until we arrived, even though it was very late. They also gave us an excellent recommendation for an Italian restaurant still open to get dinner, which was a lifesaver as we had two very hungry young children. The room was the best family room we've ever stayed in. Very clean and well laid out. The breakfast was also fantastic. We were all very happy."
