"Exceptional location - 2 min walk to bus station and buses there running to most main runs and slopes. Onky around 10 min walk to town centre and 5 min walk to Aiquile du Midi station or local supermarket. Amazing instructions from host how to find parking, how to get to the apartment, photos sent were very informative. Flat itself very stylish and freshly done, suoer comfy beds and bedding, even dishwasher tablets left for each day of our stay 🥰"

"The apartment is attractive, comfortable, cosy and clean with plenty of kitchen utensils. The location is close to bus stops and ski hire shops. Less than 10 minutes walk to the town centre. The views are fantastic with its corner position and 2 balconies with different aspects. The lady who greeted us and looked after us whenever we needed anything was very helpful and friendly. Reserved parking space in the covered parking accessed directly from the lift from the room is very convenient."
"One thing we were not so keen on was the noise from both the busy street and the Plan B bar across the road. Not a huge problem but something to be aware of."

However, the Chamonix Tourism Office confirmed that the LA CARTE D'HÔTE still exists. After further inquiries about the LA CARTE D'HÔTE, the landlord stopped responding, so we picked up the card ourselves at the tourism office."

"A really lovely apartment with plenty of space for our family of 4. Very well equipped too with everything you could need for your stay. The best bit has to be the location. The views are just stunning from the terrace and it is so close to everything, we walked everywhere all week. Perfect!"

"We liked everything - only thing to note is that the oven is not a traditional oven, it's a microwave combination grill separate to the stove top (we went for Christmas and this is not able to cook a turkey roast)."
"Well equipped and very comfortable. Perfect location as well. I had seen comments about one of the showers being too small but that’s not true. Both bedrooms have storage space and plenty of hooks to hang clothes on. Parking underneath the block is available and easy to find. The lounge is good with a large table and TV and a radio/Cd player and a DVD player. It’s a short walk to everywhere so ideal location. Really enjoyed the stay. I was put in touch with Stephanie who was really very helpful and provided all the information needed to find the apartment and garage .. so many thanks Stephanie :)"

"Newly refurbished with excellent facilities. No towels are supplied but a simple call to the host and some were sent straight over. The beer chiller had a fresh keg in it which was appreciated and the pool is amazing. We did clean up and do the bins as we always do but I don't think its required. We will be back as we loved it."

"The accomodation overall was good but the place was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Layer of dust on surfaces as well as on the floor which we had to clean on arrival as we didn’t want our children to be in such a mess. I definitely recommended meet the landlord when you are leaving so you don’t end up in a conflict like we did. We were accused of smoking in the apartment which is not true. We would never smoke indoors as we have children and we wouldn’t do this in our own house either. The landlord has charged us 50€ “cleaning fee” for airing out the properly for 24h baring in mind we were told someone was already replacing us that same day. Charging us for airing the property is not only a lie but also ridiculous. Easy money for the landlord. Learn from our mistake of not meeting them on departure."
