"Room was clean and spacious with a huge bed. Large, clean bathroom. Easy to get to from the airport. Take a Sunbeam or Pacific Transport express bus and ask to get off at Maui Palms, then walk up the signposted side road for about 200m. There's a petrol station with a cluster of restaurants, an ATM and a supermarket about 5 minutes' walk away. You will need to take a torch/phone light at night. Kitchen available for guests' use. Small but pleasant pool with sun loungers and a kids' play area. Fantastic value for the area."

"The kitchen is a great asset - we only made breakfast there but other guests were cooking lunches and dinners as well. It could be even better with a bit more attention from the staff, eg. daily cleaning, providing clean tea towels and hand towels and topping up washing-up liquid, tea bags etc. Not really complaints, but FYI: Need to pay for the room on arrival in cash. Cards are not accepted. If you need to get cash, there's an ATM at the nearby petrol station. Bed is very firm, Asian style, which won't be to everyone's taste."

"The lady owner and the housekeeper Joyce were very helpful. They were available whenever you needed them. Quite welcoming and they made sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable."

"Most of all we were welcomed with open arms and it was easy to connect with Hannah and the two staff members. They were willing to help in many way and to listen to ideas and improvement that's needed to accommodate everyone's needs. Hannah was willing to store our luggage while we went shopping as we were early for check in. The staff were very polite and helpful."

"We were a bit hesitant to go in the pool only because the water didn't look too healthy. More cutleries, containers with lids and a blender are much needed. May be in the future some insect zapper for outside as it is beautiful to sit outside after dinner."

"No good safe footpath to walk on the highway to the various facilities.Otherwise very happy with Villa facilities and friendly host . The notice board could be placed where guests can read it as soon as they arrive to know what's on offer and services available!!"
