"Staff were fantastic, very helpful and incredibly friendly - made us feel like we were friends or family visiting. I think this makes the experience! The activities were also good and food was usually made with local ingredients and included traditional Fijian foods. We were also only a few steps away from a beautiful sandy beach."

"The room we were in could do with a bit of a refresh as the showers were a bit dirty, and beds slightly uncomfortable. We weren’t expecting anything luxurious so this was fine for three nights. Swimming was limited to low tide from the beach, although you could walk across the coral if you wanted to swim at low tide."

"The place was beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly, especially Vote and Nicki Minaj. The food was delicious and the portion size was generous and they tried to incorporate local ingredients. Thanks, Samantha! The room was clean and everything works fine."

"Extremely quiet spot with only a handful of rooms. There was only 1 other couple there during our 2 nights. You have the whole beach to yourself. Staff were a big part of the trip. Couldn’t recommend spear fishing at night more. One of my all time favourite memories. Ring making and trips to the caves also recommended. Food was traditional and tasty. Accommodated pescatarians."

"Long Beach is located in Matacawalevu and is one of the best place I have visited so far! The family is lovely and food delicious. Bungalow just few steps from the beach! Very close to Blue lagoon for a day trip or stop at the minimarket."

"Long Beach family was the best part of our travel to Fiji just so lovely and caring! The beach is beautiful and snorkelling just amazing! Blue lagoon is just short trip by boat, from there you can get some snaks from the minimarket even if the food offered was just enough and delicious! Thanks Kasa and family we loved you"

"Everything was perfect and we loved every minute of it. It's a family homestay so if you want a taste of the real Fijian life you won't be disappointed. It has limited internet (patchy 3g only) and electricity so if you want fancy restaurant food, air con, and comfort perhaps it's not for you. The food was home-cooked and very tasty. Only 6 rooms were available on the island so it was a very intimate experience to interact with the other guests, the staff, and the neighboring villagers who were all super friendly and welcoming + the beach is so wide you always felt you had it all to yourself. The snorkeling in the house reef (a short boat ride or a good swim away) is the best I have done so far in Fiji!"
