Aquest lloc d'estada elegant de disseny, inaugurat a l'agost del 2012, es troba a 1,5 km de l'estació central de Helsinki i a 50 m de l'estació de metro de Hakaniemi. Ofereix WiFi gratuïta, un bar al vestíbul i 4 taula gastronòmicas d'ambient sofisticat o més informal. L'Scandic Paasi està decorat amb mobles contemporanis granment atractius inspirats en la història de la regió, com la boxa finlandesa o el circ del segle XIX. Totes les estades disposen de TV de pantalla plana i aire condicionat. Algunes així mateix tenen minibar i balcó privat. El Paasi Scandic ofereix interhigienitzat, 3 iPads i bicicletes i bastons de marxa nòrdica d'ús gratuït. A més, acull un centre de fitness i una biblioteca amb jocs de taula i revistes. Al costat de l'complex hoteler tenen parada diversos tramvies i autobusos i a 15 minuts a peu hi ha la plaça del Senat i la plaça del Mercat de Helsinki. El port de Hakaniemi està posicionat a 2 minuts a peu i permet accedir amb vaixell al zoològic de Korkeasaari.

"The hotel has a very modern lobby, luggage storage is available. I had accidentally booked for the wrong dates, but the staff could accommodate us afterall without extra costs, very much appreciated! The location is excellent too, I highly recommend it for short stays in the city because everything is well connected by tram or even walkable."

(I had never tried them before and now I love them!) The room was spacious and well-equipped + very convenient for my 5-night-stay; staff was always very friendly and helpful. Location: even though it wasn't in the city centre, it was perfect for me to reach destinations in the northern part of Helsinki or beyond, as well as the city centre. "Great location, extremely friendly and helpful staff even during a big event and a lot of people at the hotel. We were able to pay for late check out (only 20 euros) which was truly a life saver during this cold month because our flight was at 18:30. I would stay here again!"
"They don't have a sauna at the hotel, but there is a sauna free to use in their sister hotel which is just a two minute walk away so it isn't an actual problem."
