"The personal is very nice. The area is nice and for the most part quiet. The room was clean and provided enough space for a short or even long stay. The residents are not allowed to use the kitchen, but a fridge, microwave, and an airfryer are available in the dining hall."

"One bathroom (toilet + shower) is shared among 5 rooms (up to 8 people). The air conditioning is controlled centrally, which was quite cold for my taste. I aired out the room during a warm day, which resolved the issue for me for the next 2 days. It was quite loud outside around 2am at night, when the garbage truck and the street cleaning car worked on the street outside my window."

"The sinks are in the toilets right in the same room with the WC, it's fine to wash our hands. But it is annoying when you want to brush your teeth. The beds were tiny and Right next to the wall. So you do hit the wall in your sleep."

"Very centrally located, yet quiet. Two blocks to Metro station, five blocks to la Gran Via and Plaza de Espana. Safe area. Lots of food options, 24 hr cafe only a block away and a Carrefour Market (medium size with the basics) 2 blocks away. Room was no smaller than one at a place I stayed that was double the price (it had a private bath, however). WC and shower room were clean and the water was hot. Room AC kept the room at good temp despite an ambient temp of 95F outside, it was not too cold during the night, when opening a window to the courtyard offered a nice, cool breeze. Wifi signal was strong and available 24x7. Breakfast was buffet style and offered all the basics: pastries, breads, fresh fruits, variety of juices, cereals and scrambled eggs plus coffee and chocolate. A similar breakfast at a nearby cafe would be 8 or 10 Euros. The staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. Will stay there again on future Madrid visits."
