"The interconnecting door meant we were kept awake by our neighbours. Make sure you avoid these rooms! Many guests arrive in coach parties late at night and leave very early in the morning. This can be disturbing to other guests. The restaurant had the air conditioning on when it was already cold. Many guests were eating in winter coats, which the staff seemed to ignore."

"Wonderful property, within easy reach of the pyramids and gem, away from the nightmare that is Cairo traffic. Very well maintained, staff were amazing and attentive, went out of their way to make us and the children feel at home and at ease. The rooms are great, the beds are so so comfortable, the showers are exceptional.. if a hotel has a great shower then it is usually a great hotel and this is very true about Jaz pyramids. Pool area great, good games room ( some of the games could do with a bit of a spruce up), wonderful play area for little children, great surprise with the gym and spa, and a basketball court at the back too. The gardens are very welcoming, and the sound of the water from the fountains just makes you feel at ease. Overall, great stay, and would be very happy to return."

"The only issue we had was with the food, particularly for vegetarians and vegans. And to be fair to the hotel staff they did their best to accommodate. However, a lack of knowledge and understanding of what being vegetarian or vegan is, means that this experience could be improved for guests quite considerably. And the hotel do acknowledge this and will do their best to change this. And being able to explain this clearly in Arabic is not easy especially if one does not speak Arabic. So the staff interpret what they can as best as they can. When this was discussed with the chefs, they took on board the feedback and made changes to accommodate.. for example, making fresh pesto without cheese therefore we could have a meal in the evening."
