"My friend and I stayed here twice on the same vacation. The staff is very hardworking and they will always help you with whatever (booking tours, recommending what to do in Quito, and what busses to take). We booked the double bed both times we went here (because it was cheaper) but the hostel upgraded us to a room with two singles for the same price each time. The hostel is very close to a main bus station that can take you wherever in Quito. If you visit this beautiful capital I highly recommend you staying at the Colonial House inn."

"I felt at home. From the kindness and lovely energies of the staff, to the big shared areas, kitchens, and of course the GARDEN with a cute bunny, a puppy and series of hammocks... The vibes are relaxing and friendly. Coffee tea and bananas are offered. Many smiles. It's a sure address and if I'm back to Quito I will absolutely come again !"
