"The breakfast is not buffet but, fixed with a few options. Although it was good, the breakfast took forever to serve all the days we were there (about 45min). And the options are that if you take an omelette, you can't have pancakes so someone with a bit more appetite might not get a full stomach there."

"We had a wonderful stay and felt welcome from the very first moment, greeted with a refreshing freshly squeezed juice. The hotel grounds and surroundings are absolutely beautiful and exceptionally well maintained, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are rustic, full of charm, and very cozy, perfectly matching the character of the place. In the evenings, the bar is open until 11 p.m., offering an intimate and romantic ambiance that we truly enjoyed. The seawater pool is especially refreshing and beautiful, and we loved that it is available without fixed opening hours, allowing for complete relaxation at any time of day. A truly special place that we would happily return to and highly recommend to anyone visiting Las Terrenas."

"The common areas, the pool, the tropical garden, we could not have made a better choice than La Tortuga. The fact that the hotel is not on the main road/sea front makes it a much quieter place. The staff was amazing. We originally booked for 3 nights but then extended our stay for another 4 nights. The rooms were spacious. The location was great. There was a gym nearby. And there was yoga twice a week. The staff also accommodated any extra wishes."

"Too small breakfast for a normal eating men. When you ask for more they charge extra. I don’t thing this appropriate for a hotel in this price category. Others offer a buffet where you don’t have this issue."
