This hotel is the surely most delightful hidden treasure in Prague - both respectful of the history of the building and environment, whilst providing a comfortable and secluded stay. Wake to bird-song in the morning and go to sleep in probably the quietest spot in the city you'll ever find. The bath-tubs are welcome after a day's walking!Please visit the local pub U Cerneho Vola which is 200m away - it helps support a neighbouring school for the blind."

"Its location, a little away from the centre,might discourage a few travellers but it's only 8 minutes on the frequent 22 tram ( part of a superb capital transport system - free for under 15s and over 65s ,and reduced fares for over 60s )but located amongst a group of lovely historical buildings and within easy walking distance to the well - worth a visit Prague Castle .And more powerful bedside reading lights wouldn't go amiss ."

"The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The bedroom was really clean, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a great range of items to choose from - very impressive. The location was beautiful, in a picturesque cobbled square - a little out of town and up the hill but we walked into the centre in around 20-30 minutes each day."

"The layout of the bedroom was a bit tricky to work with. The bathroom and a small area of storage space (along with tea & coffee facilities) was on the first level, then we had to climb a steep metal staircase to the area with our bed. We were right up on the top floor(s) of the building, so the roof sloped in, leaving very little space to move around the bedroom, and nowhere else to store any clothes. There was one chair at a desk on the lower level, but if we wanted to sit down together for a coffee, we had to climb up to lie on the bed. Don't think this would have been an issue for younger people!"

"The sound insulation between the rooms - there are always two rooms close to each other and you hear a lot from the neighboring room. I heard my neighbor snoring in distance and was waken up by a shower in the morning. It didn't destroy my experience, but maybe something to consider for the next renovations."

"Cleaners did well but they need to check all beds fully as there was a moment I cut myself by accident and I got a little bit on the bed and when the Cleaners came to change the bedding they not changed the sheet that had the bit of blood on it plus they didnt mop the floors properly."
