"I loved that it was a relic of communism - a mini time capsule with the typical terrible interior design, doors and fixtures..it was like stepping 40 years into the past. Location was great. Parking was on site and convenient at a cost. Breakfast was solid."

"Very central location right next to the main square in Plzeň. The staff was phenomenally friendly and the rooms spacious and clean. We also loved the view of the Christmas market and the cathedral. Very good breakfast."
"Realized too late that "budget room" didn't mean smaller but in a less favorable location. Right underneath the terrace bar where you can hear chairs being dragged all the time. Luckily we stayed only one night but that would have driven us crazy."

"This was my fourth or fifth stay at the Central; I love staying here! The breakfasts are great, there is (paid) parking in the courtyard (try to book this in advance, because it can fill up), and the view of the main square is fantastic - try to get one of the view rooms!"
