Bristol Palace is a historic hostal in the centre of Karlovy Vary, set in an aristocratic manor dating back from the 19thcentury. "A good hotel, with comfortable and spacious rooms. It was good to have spa facilities in the hotel (even if you had to walk through the labyrinth to find them 🤣) and a gym, with breakfast included. The hotel was up quite a lot of stairs/a steep road, but you got to know shortcuts over the stay. The main issue was some very unfriendly/cold staff, who could do with customer service training (although some of them were much nicer too)."

"Brilliant place. It was what I like. Great staff, they work so hard. I see them late in the evening and again at breakfast. They speak many languages and know the expectations of different cultures. Beautiful room, fantastic breakfast and the spa facilities were brilliant. A magical place in the winter and great value."

"The hotel complex and gardens were beautiful. Located an uphill walk from the main strip it’s surrounded by immaculately kept hotels and spas. The Bristol Palace spa was lovely, very clean and peaceful. Room was big and spacious."

"We found it difficult dragging heavy cases up hills and steps which went on forever. We looked for buses but there appeared to be none. So be aware of this if you book. Once there it's worth it but it was extremely hard work getting up to it. A little slow checking us in- 2 reception staff members dealing with lots of things at once. Also, curtains could do with being thicker as they let a lot of light in in the early hours. Better sound proofing would be good- disturbed early in the morning with lots of noise. Other than that- fab!"
