"I had a wonderful stay at Pensão Domingas. The owner, Domingas, is exceptionally hospitable — very attentive, kind, and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay. The breakfast is excellent and varied, with plenty of delicious options to start the day. The location is perfect, situated in a quiet and peaceful area, ideal for resting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. I felt like home."

"The owner of this place is really nice and helps you out a lot. She provided me with all the information I needed, whenever I asked (one of my many) questions. It will help if you speak a bit of Portuguese when you are visiting, but that applies to the whole of Cabo Verde. I would recommend this place if you want to have a nice bed in a comfortable place."

"The guesthouse is simple but good: beds are comfortable, room is large and breakfast well prepared. The highlight is the owner, Dominga, who helped us in several ways during our trip. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for something simple"

"It was a great expérience staying in the pension. Dimingas and her family are very friendly and welcoming and you get a family feel (which was a nice change after staying in an hotel the week before). Zuka is a great guide if you want to visit the island and climb on the volcan, and he speaks perfect French, English and Spanish. The family was very flexible about the check out time, and also arranged a taxi everytime I needed one. The location is very close to the city center and great restaurants, as well as shops."
