"Casa Azul is a remote and peaceful hideout situated on the steep hillside high above busy and polluted Mindelo. With its calm and quiet atmosphere it lowers your pulse and mind immediately. Bildt in a rustic Mediterranean architecture with a beautiful garden. Some rooms are tastefully decorated with antic furniture and artefacts. Family run and very helpful staff."
"The WiFi could be faster and have better coverage. A bit tricky access along a remote and bumpy road. It shouldn’t have to be necessary to have to ask for toilet paper, soap and bathroom accessories."

"Ein sympathisches kleines Hotel mit einer ebenso sympathischen Besitzerfamilie. Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel über der Stadt und hat eine wunderbare Aussicht. Alle mit der etwas einsamen Lage verbundenen Nachteile wurden durch die Organisation des Hotels wettgemacht."

Was den Ort aber einzigartig macht, sind die Gastgeber Marie und Pierre, die sich mit Natürlichkeit und Empathie um ihre Gäste kümmern, Taxis buchen, Touren organisieren und für jede Frage eine Antwort wissen. Wenn wir wiederkommen, werden wir definitiv länger als nur drei Tage bleiben."

"La Casa Azul c’est entrer dans un havre de paix, niché au dessus de la ville de Mindelo. Le cadre est idyllique, très calme et très bien entretenu. Les couchers de soleil sont magnifiques. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et la literie très confortable. Nous y avons très bien petit déjeuné et dîné. Nos hôtes ont été des plus accueillants et nous avons beaucoup apprécié échangé avec eux, d’autant plus qu’ils vivent sur l’île depuis plusieurs générations ! Ils ont également arrangé la location de voiture pour nous. Merci encore pour votre hospitalité."

"Snídaně skromnější, avšak dostatečná. Ubytování je nad městem, dostupné autem, doporučuji půjčení auta v místní půjčovně.Nádherný výhled na město, obzvlášť v noci. Pierre je velmi nápomocný a milý, neměli jsme žádný problém. Pokud auto nemáte, do města vás ochotně zaveze. Wifi pouze v okolí recepce. Je možné objednat i výbornou večeři."
