"We stayed a few days and we really liked it. The host was super friendly and did organize us tours, got us discount, knew good English and we could easily extend the stay. We really felt comfortable and the apartment was really clean. The small kitchen was perfect to cook dinner. In the shower came hot water, which is exceptional for Costa Rica."

"During our stay we stayed in two different rooms, the one upstairs (I think number 2) and the one on the ground floor. The upper one was very nice, the kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean and a nice view. For this one probably a 10/10, however…"

"The stay in the lower a apartment was not as nice. The room was quite humid and smelled moldy. While it was still sufficiently clean, we found the cutting board covered with mold. After staying in the upper apartment this was definitely a downgrade, so in my opinion the downstairs apartment should cost less."

"The only thing I didn't like was that the was there was quite dark at night. I felt completely safe but it you are travelling alone and are a little nervous, then you might feel a little on edge. I didn't venture out once it got dark but I did arrive when it was dark and it was fine!"

"This place is an incredible find and why I continue to use Booking for great stays and interesting experiences! The apartment is spotless with what appears to be a recently renovated bathroom, and has everything you need to prepare small meals. We only stayed a couple nights and did not cook, as there are a number of restaurants nearby. The location is INCREDIBLE. This is less than a 10-minute walk to the main village of Santa Elena/restaurants/grocery store but just away enough to be totally tranquil. The main reserves, tours, etc are a 15-minute drive away or less. It also felt very safe. We watched birds, horses, all kinds of amazing things from the balcony. What a romantic little place! Siary is a super-responsive host who made self check-in and check-out very easy. I cannot BELIEVE the value for the money!! If this is available and you are traveling as a couple, do not hesitate to book!"

"The apartment was clean and sunny. There is a small but very well equipped kitchen - great for someone who wants to cook, good knives. Nice view from the window - on the horizon you can see Arenal lake. There is a little outdoor area to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Comfortable bed. Very good location - just 5 minutes walk from shops, but quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay, would stay again!"
