"We loved staying at the ranch, although the road that leads up there can be tricky (still totally doable with a 4x4), it was definitely worthy, even just for the view and the peace. The lodge was comfortable and cozy and we really appreciated the dinner delivery service. Breakfast was really nice too and we enjoyed the little hike around the property."

"Amazing stay at the lodge. We were at the sunrise lodge and this one was more isolated from the main house which we loved. We saw so many birds in the morning and our stay was magical. The highlight of our Costa Rica trip. Also we hosts are super friendly and available if you have any questions."

"The ranch was so nice. Amazing views across the valley to the nearby volcano. It's remote and the road is a little bumpy to get up (you need 4X4) so best to bring food in with you. Breakfast was really good in a beautiful room with a great view."

"The bungalows were comfortable, private and with great views of Turrialba volcano. They are set in a sizeable plot and there are paths within it to explore the forest. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfasts were delightful with a great selection of fresh fruit, nuts, granola, toast and eggs served in a beautiful dining cabin."

"Superb peaceful location in the hills overlooking a smoking volcano. Not just that but the most wonderful breakfast including fresh eggs from the pet chickens. Birding guide Steven was amazing, pointing out so many spots that we would never have seen without him!!"

"Incredible location. A really cool place to stay and recharge in the area of Turrialba.. Views of the Turrialba Volcano are unforgettable. Very safe location. I wish I could have brought some food to enjoy the view while cooking and drikning."
"Definitely you want to arrive in a 4x4 or crossover vehicle to have an easy ride up to the hotel. Phone signal is lost on the way up, so you better have the location details clear."

Ens va encantar l'estufa de llenya i el menjador per passar l'estona. A més hi ha una passarel·la a mode de balcó que rodeja la casa des de la que pots veure el volcà Poás. The owner is super nice and helpful, it's walking distance to the beach, options for food around, although keep in mind that at the closest entrance you have to pay to enter even in the evenings. The other entrance you don't have to, but it's a longer walk. Wifi and aircon works good."
