"I picked this place for the proximity to the bus stop. They accommodated early check in and out as I had to leave at 3:30am and they had a lunch ready for me to depart with."

"Stains on the beds, the room felt like an afterthought, the workmanship of the room was not good, but the bar and outdoor area were very nice. The setup is quite wonky where on a busy night you would have to navigate a full dance party to get to your room. Juan referred to me as an old man during the check in. I'm 49, so while fair I don't believe the comment was deserved based off the dynamics of the situation."

"Big rooms with very comfortable beds and great shower, lots of space, good AC. The location is perfect, in the heart of Tamarindo, close to many restaurants, shops, and the beach. Lovely yard with common area and pool, lush vegetation, and a good coffee shop and delicious restaurant attached. Agustín is super nice, he was available on WhatsApp from the moment I booked, very courteous and attentive. I had to leave the place at 6am to catch my flight, and he had a sandwich to go for me for breakfast."

"Depending on the season, it is not the most quiet place, especially as the restaurant has live music sometimes. Really good music, by the way, and given that the rooms are all the way in the back, it's not that bad. They do offer ear plugs, which basically solve the problem if you are a light sleeper and want to go to bed early. However, the nightlife of Tamarindo is a highlight, given that it's a surfer town, and the place is very nice overall, with a hip crowd and great atmosphere."

"Great and super welcoming owners!! They are very helpful with all the local recommendations and are always there for the guests:) Simple, clean, cosy, great location and wonderful food!! It gets loud in the evenings, but earplugs are provided for those who want an early night - and they work so well! We enjoyed our stay very much!! Thanks to Augustin and all the stuff!!!"

"The location was very central and close to the beach. The room was peaceful and cutely decorated, as was the rest of the lodge. They provided towels for the pool, bathing, and for visiting the beach. The included breakfast was amazing. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. They treated us like family from the beginning with advice and ideas on activities to do and places to enjoy."
