Located 3.1 miles from Marino Ballena National park and 10 minutes from Playa Hermosa de Osa, Manoas offers an outdoor pool and it is surrounded by a lush garden with tropical flowers, and mountain view. It features free Wi-Fi in all areas and free parking for each bungalow or villa. All houses also come with a full kitchen, A/C, private bathroom, hot water and comfortable beds. The bungalows come with a fridge, private bathroom, fans and a beautiful deck to enjoy the stunning views of the jungle. Activies in the surrounding area include hiking, swimming in the river of the property and fishing. Manoas also help the environment using biodegradable cleaning supplies, solar panels and growing some things for the bistrot. This property is 6 km from Playa Hermosa. Juan Santamaría International Airport is about 3 hours’ drive away. Please note that a 4x4 vehicle is necessary to reach this property.

"The privacy and hospitality of the hosts. The location is perfect, and the people working there really care about this place."

"The place is nice and quiet, tents are spacious and really clean. You might park your car just a step from your room which is convenient same as is the small fridge you´ll find inside room. Bathroom with warm shower. The terraces in front of the tents are huge with large table and benches. Staff is friendly and hepfull. We slept there for 2 nights and both mornings the breakfast was excellent."

"If you are looking for a calm and relaxing stay outside the town, this is it. You can chill by the pool and/or enjoy your own terrace. You are living amidst the jungle. I didn’t mind to not have a real AC, fan worked 100% and was enough. Staff is incredibly kind!"

"Our stay at Manoas was nothing short of incredible. Nestled in the mountains and only about a 9-minute drive from town, it felt like the perfect balance of convenience and total seclusion. The entire property is absolutely stunning—peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The hosts were wonderfully kind and accommodating, making us feel at home right away. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, the perfect start to each day. The pool is beautifully placed with breathtaking views, creating such a relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights was the private river spot, perfect for swimming and cooling off. It felt like our own personal paradise. Honestly, we couldn’t recommend Manoas more. If you’re looking for tranquility, natural beauty, and amazing hospitality, this is the place."

"Molt bona qualitat preu. Els amfitrions van estar molt servicials i ens van donar molts consells. La casa i les habitacions molts completes i pràctiques. Ens va encantar l'estufa de llenya i el menjador per passar l'estona. A més hi ha una passarel·la a mode de balcó que rodeja la casa des de la que pots veure el volcà Poás. Ens hagués agradat quedar-nos un dia més per conèixer millor l'entorn! Molt recomanable!"

The owner is super nice and helpful, it's walking distance to the beach, options for food around, although keep in mind that at the closest entrance you have to pay to enter even in the evenings. The other entrance you don't have to, but it's a longer walk. Wifi and aircon works good."
