"Fairly remote. It is a ranch. To us there's not a lot in the surrounding area. Visit to the Jesus tree. Horse riding is available. Some good beaches if that's your thing. Some nice local eateries. Howler monkeys 50 yards away. Saves paying expensive park fees. Leon the host very responsive. 3 very friendly dogs"

"There were three of us who stayed in the three bedroom villa, next to the forest frequented by howler monkeys. The interior is rustic, just as we wanted. We provided our own meals without any problems. The owner Brigit was super helpful, and in addition toi explaining details of how to get around by car for shopping, retaurants etc, she provided the essential help for us to get to the right place to commence our salt water fishing session. This required WhatsApp calls and messaging, which she offered to initiate, rather than us asking."

"Frankly, not much. The place is not "away from it all" as the noise from the nearby village and road can be heard (although it did not trouble us as we were spent days away). We only had a single brief power cut and the wifi dropped off temporarily at times but those were outside the owners' powers. (You take such mini problems in your stride if you are willing to look for alternative accommodation outside bog-standard hotel accommodation)."

"The property is located in exceptional surroundings as it it immersed in the jungle - it is perfect for a couple of days of peace and quiet after the busy Santa Teresa. The hosts were very sweet and helpful 😊"

"We loved everything about our stay at Fidelito ranch. We liked it so much we even stayed an extra night! The room is spacious and VERY clean, and the sheets smell so good! Bridgette and Leon are the nicest people and make you feel like family. Leon took us out and my son got to see their horses and cows, which he loved. They are a wealth of knowledge and willing to help with anything. The beach is a quick 10 min drive away, and you still get to be in the jungle and hear howler monkeys and other wildlife. I would come back and visit again 100%"

"Un très bel endroit, calme, très propre et en nature! La propriétaire est très gentille et accueillante. Le logement est équipée d'une belle cuisine, des lits confortables (de qualité) et a un grand balcon. C'est en campagne et à l'écart de la route. Belle trouvaille !!"

"Schon als wir die Auffahrt hochgefahren sind, habe ich schon gewusst, dass es mir hier sehr gut gefallen wird und habe mich schon ein bisschen geärgert, dass wir nur 2 Nächte gebucht haben. Wir wurden sehr herzlichen empfangen und wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Das Zimmer war sehr groß mit zwei Betten, eine vollausgestatteten Küche und einem großen Badezimmer. Am Abend haben wir uns mit Brigitte und Leon hauptsächlich über Pferde ;-) und den Rest der Welt unterhalten. Am nächsten Tag hat Brigitte uns auf ihre morgendliche Tour zu den Pferden mitgenommen und uns einen kleinen Teil der Ranch gezeigt. Beeindruckend was die beiden hier erschaffen haben und wie sie alles meistern."

"El hospedaje esta maravilloso, lugar super tranquilo en medio de bosque, de verdad que se descansa super... muy espacioso para mi eso es importante. Full aire, ventilador, aunque por la noche el lugar es fresco por la vegetación que lo rodea."

"Tener en cuenta que en el lugar no hay muy cerca super mercado o tiendas de conveniencia. El hospedaje esta señalizado como para ir atento a la hora de llegar, también tiene un poquito complicado el acceso pero es cuestión de maniobrar el vehículo bien, aproximadamente 25 metros."

"Tolle Lage im Dschungel, man hört die Natur in der Nacht. Die Unterkunft ist gut ausgestattet, sehr schön eingerichtet und gut geschützt gegen Insekten. Wir hatten einen super, wenn auch sehr kurzen Aufenthalt."
