"This was our second time staying at Cougar as we absolutely loved it the first time. The property is spacious, modern and very clean. The master bedroom has a balcony which we sat on every day and night and watched the birds and the stars. We saw Toucan's, hummingbirds, wrens and many more. The location is very peaceful. There is a farm close by selling fresh produce along with a night tour and dinner. Our host Maria is wonderful. Very attentive and just a beautiful human."

"The property was incredible. The home felt brand new, it was extremely clean. It is up the hill from Monteverde and it feels like you’re in the jungle. The host was incredibly accommodating and sweet. She even left us a bottle of champagne. We look forward to staying here again, it was our favourite place we stayed in Costa Rica. There were even monkeys outside the bedroom deck in the trees."
"This is no fault of the hosts but when it is windy it is so extremely loud with the branches hitting the roof and other wind noises that it made it impossible to sleep."
