"The host is SO KIND and helpful. The location was great: on a quiet street but very close to the beach and main street. The room is a bedroom in a shared, Costa-Rica-style house, so it gives the feel of a more local stay (as opposed to foreign-styled hotels). There's also a kitchen guests can use, which helped us save money (Playa del Coco is expensive!!!)."

"The only things I didn't like were about Playa del Coco itself (it's expensive and feels more like America than Costa Rica). I have no complaints about the hotel, it was great!"

"Coco Verde was amazing. The owners kept the place spotless. Lovely little casita. Beautiful kitchen area, tiled floors, lovely long wooden table in front of window that allowed breeze to flow in. I even had my own bedroom. 300 meters to the beach. Highly recommend. As a retired woman travelling solo, I felt very safe and secure."
